We were in Stavanger, Norway to exhibit at the biennial Offshore Northern Seas Conference & Exhibition
Having been established in 1980, ONS has developed a strong reputation as being one of Europe's prime conference & exhibition events in the Oil & Gas, Offshore & Marine industries with a diverse pool of exhibitors and delegates from blue-chip companies and smaller businesses.
With 10 different halls offering over 27,000 square metres of exhibitor space, ONS 2016 was the largest-scale event since it began. Bibby Maritime fell into the 30% of attendees that were new to exhibiting at the event and it looks set to become one to add to the calendar for 2018 following the impressive feedback from this years event.
Antone Cerrotta, Sales & Commercial Coordinator and Callum Stone, Marketing Assistant were representing Bibby Maritime in Stavanger and were kept busy over the four days explaining how floating accommodation can be an ideal solution for projects in isolated and remote locations around the world. "We've been really happy with the volume of people that have came over to the stand to find out more about us. The concept of having a shore-side barge that can house workers is often something people do not know is possible and many are fascinated by it after perceiving what we can offer and we have attracted a lot of interest here in Norway. It is really good for brand awareness and meeting representatives from other companies has been very constructive" explained Antone.
Figures released post show by ONS have revealed that over 65,000 people visited this year along with over 1,200 companies from 40 countries exhibiting.
